Workshops and Courses
Sheila is an experienced tutor and workshop leader.
She has worked with people of all ages from 3 to 100 and with people of all backgrounds and levels of experience.
She has a City & Guilds 7307 Level 4 FENTO Teaching Certificate for FE, AE and HE (2002) and has run many workshops and courses including:
Birmingham University – visiting lecturer working with creative writing undergraduates on experimental writing techniques.
Workers Educational Association – teaching practical art skills as a sessional tutor to adults including those from areas of high deprivation and those with physical and/or learning difficulties.
Artworcs – co-founder and director of artworcs, a combined arts company producing professionally funded original work in, of and for Worcestershire. Activities included day workshops with the public and education projects in secondary schools
Birmingham Rep Theatre – outreach artist working in primary schools in the West Midlands on the Toy Theatres' Project
Theatreworks – outreach artist working with writer/actor Ian Billings and writer Stephanie Dale combining stories and art in primary schools in the West Midlands.
